"Last July I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. I had none of the risk factors associated with this cancer – never smoked or used smokeless tobacco. At that time, I was working out at the gym, eating healthy and enjoying life. My daughter was married in June, 2010, and it was one of the happiest days of my life. My world was changed overnight. After several biopsies, it was determined that I had stage 4 nasopharyngeal carcinoma. They had found cancer in two lymph nodes and could not find the primary cancer. Because of this, it required a very extensive treatment plan. Over the next 5 months, I had 4 surgeries (which included a feeding tube), 3 extensive chemo treatments and 7 weeks (35 treatments) of radiation treatments to my neck area.
The effects of radiation treatment are difficult and very challenging. It has affected my sense of taste and my salivary glands, which has caused severe dry mouth. I always have to make sure that I have available a bottle of water or some form of hydration to moisten my mouth. After talking for not even 5 minutes, my mouth is extremely dry. My wife had heard about your product from a co-worker. She thought maybe it might help with my dry mouth. Your wife sent us some samples and to my surprise, it made a difference. Even though most everything tastes bad or very bland, NIP ICE had a pleasant taste. But more importantly, it also provided moisture to my dry mouth for an extended period of time. I put a very small amount under my tongue and when it gets kind of dry I simply drink a sip of water periodically and it helped extend it as much as an hour. I also like the idea of providing much needed energy from the B12 and caffeine. Anyone that has gone thru chemo or radiation knows that your energy levels can be zapped at times.

"I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for your product. It has truly changed my life and probably added about 20 years. I chewed Red Man, Beachnut and Levi Garrett in my early years playing sports. When I was about 25 and got a real job, I found that this habit was really and messy in an office environment. I had just received my first shipment of NiP the Grip. After I unpacked the box, I stacked up the cans on my desk at home. Looking at the stack reminded me of how I used to stack the empty dip cans in my dorm room window during my college baseball days. As I was sitting there looking at the stack I was taking inventory in my head of the hundreds of people I personally knew or had known in my life who I would love to give a can of NiP too.. Starting with me at age 14 when I started dipping tobacco. As I stared at the cans of NiP stacked up, it reminded me of how I used to revel in the rebellion of the stack. All that dip, and rebellion neatly arranged in a pyramid as a monument to my rebellious accomplishment. After all, through my teens and in college, that was 99% of why I dipped. It gave me an identity I enjoyed. I was the rebel who dipped tobacco. Yea right! Me and 95% of the other numb-skull baseball players who thought that was part of the identity that went with the game. Then I thought of how awesome God is to give a man like Lee Lewis such a simple, but powerful idea. I heard about NiP through some office chatter in a hotel lobby. Now here I was with the best solution I had ever seen to a product that could really change people's lives. I have people calling me all the time to coach their kids or their teams. Or at least give batting lessons. But one thing I really have that's more powerful than a swing of the bat, is the knowledge of a God who gives us all good things. Who gives us a REAL identity that is designed to prosper us and not to harm us. He never would have wanted that junk in my mouth. In fact, had I not had the "rebellious" attitude that manifested itself through such a stupid habit, I may still be playing. But now I know Him more, and I have my identity, power, and peace in Him. And that's worth a thousand year's in the majors. And I found a safe dip that I really like too! So I can show those same kids that your power is in your mind, and in your relationship with Him that gave you the body to play ball in the first place. He gave you the "buzz" of His peace and set you apart not by your own rebellion, but by your identity in Him and through plans He has to prosper you and not to harm you.. That's how you stand out.
There were 2 guys on my summer league baseball team when I was 16 who didn't dip. One is a missionary in Africa, and is still one of my favorite people ever. He was my college roommate, went on the same first double date with his wife as I did with mine. And he has been true "salt" and an example to me throughout my life. And the other one was too dear to God's heart for God to stand to be away from him any longer. He died while jogging with his dad. Two of the greatest guys I'll ever know. At 16. And that's how they stood out. A small thing. Not legalistic. They just didn't like it. But they also did like God an awful lot too. Funny how that works out.
Now I look at that stack on my desk, and revel in the redemption of them! How God gave me something else to give these kids as an alternative. Not just in the can or with the bat, but in their hearts. But He has a plan to keep us from harm and prosper us. So he gave us something else to stick in our mouth that keeps us from the harm of the stupidity that tries to thrust itself upon us when we are weak and ignorant.. The bible says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." That's Hosea 4:6. That lack of knowledge can be as much about Who you don't know and who you are as it can be about knowing what's good and bad; right and wrong. Today, I know who I am. I can walk in the freedom of that identity, and in the power of it. And I see how God can redeem and take what the devil meant for Lee Lewis' harm, and turn it into Lee Lewis' good.
